What Ifá Is Saying This Week Through Ogunda Meji
This week, Ifá speaks through Ogunda Meji — and the message is direct. This is a week of Iré. The Odù that fell carries a single, clear prophecy: Aikú. Not dying. Not fading. Not being overcome.
Ogunda Meji speaks to those who have been cutting through difficulty. Through obligations that didn’t let up. Through decisions that cost something real. Through paths that weren’t easy to walk. Ifá says: the path you have been walking is straight. Keep going.
The prophecy of Aikú doesn’t simply mean you won’t die this week. It means that whatever has been threatening the life of something important to you — a relationship, a plan, a resource, a sense of purpose — Ifá says it will not succeed. The threat passes. The thing lives.
But this Odù carries a condition. Ògún, Orisa of iron and movement, went through seven forests. He performed his sacrifice first. That is the order. Sacrifice, then movement. Not the other way around.
What the Prophecy of Aikú Means for You This Week
Aikú is one of the most powerful Iré conditions in Ifá. It literally means “non-death” — the assurance that life, vitality, and continuation are protected. This week, what was supposed to end does not end. What was supposed to be taken stays. But your part in that is not passive. You are called to act.
