This week, Ifá speaks through Ìwòrì Òdí — an Odu that sees what you are hiding from yourself.
Ìwòrì is the Odu of deep introspection, of inner vision, of the things that live beneath the surface of your daily life. And Òdí carries the weight of concealment, of what is stored in the body, of secrets that fester when they are not brought into the light. Together, this Odu does not arrive gently. It arrives with a lantern held up to the parts of your life you have been avoiding.
This week carries conflicted energy; which means the conditions are working against you if you are not paying close attention. The prophecies active are serious: Ikú, Àrùn, Ajé, Òfò, and Ẹ̀gbà. These are warnings about endings, sickness, financial pressure, loss, and the kind of restriction that locks your hands and your feet when you need to move most.
But hear this clearly — this is not a verdict. It is a warning. Ifá gives warnings precisely because there is still time to act.
The ancient story carried by this Odu is about the Owl, a creature who was told to make sacrifice to protect his eyesight into old age. He heard the warning. He understood it. And then he refused. The forests have been ringing with his cry of regret ever since.
Do not be the Owl this week.
