Excellent video, Baba :-)!!! You seemed born for the camera; the warmth of your personality and character comes right through! Moreover, the information you shared was very informative, helpful to me, and clear! In fact, you cleared up several issues that continue to seem to pop up in ‘the Community’ of America concerning Itefa, and exactly what constitutes a “Babalawo!” So, Ese oooo, Baba!! And, I can’t wait for your next one….May you continue your great works, Ase ooo :-)!!

Aboru aboye Baba Oloye Awo Ifayemi, Bawo ni ooo?? I hope you are still ‘excellent!’ I am writing to restate my satisfaction with your first video, and urge you to consider posting another one — preferably on the same topic (a part-2, if you would)!!

I am currently considering the Itefa option quite seriously, and your first video was such a help to me and I cannot help but expect that future vids would be more of the same! What I am specifically interested in is your system of teaching your omo-Awos: do you use audio recordings, printed hand-outs, and/or videos (or any other teaching aids) to support your teaching, by chance?; how much emphasis is put on learning the Yoruba language, becoming fluent?; and, have you currently had any North American omo who have graduated to the rank of Awo???

Finally, for your omo whose Ita Dafa does NOT indicate a clear destiny of divining, ritual, consulting, and/or initiation work, are there many references, guides for careers outside of those works — say business, literary, farming, herbalism, social work, etc. careers availble through your instruction, or Ile, Baba? Ese ooo and Odabo, Baba Oloye Awo…

You have no idea how your information has enlightened me. I Thank You. My family has taught me their way since a child. But it never resonated with me…even then. I have since become a Seeker which is sometimes looked down upon. Months…years. Finally have felt the Truth within me…because without being said…Thats all it takes. The Knowledge is most pleasurable at this point.
