    I wish you and other babalawo can tell the world about your personal,intimate experiences with Ifa.It would also be most helpful to know your mental processes when interacting with Odu.

  2. I am highly impressed with your website. Undoubtedly, you are one of the truly-endowed diviners, and not one of the Jeun-jeuns (or the ar’ebipas) that are tarnishing Yoruba’s name, good image, culture and tradition all over the world. I am neither a Babalawo nor omo-ese Ifa but an endowed diviner. My recent discoveries on Ifa-Orunmila’s ways have prompted the following questions: How are Ori, Ipin and Odu differ? How many Odus (primary and secondary) does Ifa truly, have? Does Ifa-Orunmila “religion” qualify to be called a religion or just the Yoruba’s traditional way?

  3. Once again, I am highly impressed with your indepth knowledge of the Odus. You truly, understood the rudimentary facts behind it. Good job! By the way, you indicated that: “Odú is the oracular utterance of the spirits” Are the Odus really, utterances?

      In as much as an utterance is a natural unit of speech bounded by breaths or pauses, you would be well within the definition if one is to consider that ese ifa is a beautiful and poetic for of expression which our ancestors have incorporated to not only convey “Truth” but to help us memorize them.
