I wan to share a little bit about the odu Oshe’Sa. For the most part one of it’s most significant message; If you harbor resentment in your heart you might as well take poison. Think about this.
So much energy is spent harboring such powerful energy, that the only person impacted by its negative results is you.
Often times we take on a reality which is not who we are. A facade; if you will, is the most destructive persona we can assume. Every so often I get to have the honor of accompanying a person in the discovery of their purpose in life. Recently I met such a person, and the most important message she had for me was the message of Oshun’s most important gift to us all.
After years of a personal and intimate relation with this most exquisite Orisha; I’ve come to realize that she is the energy that gives birth to “The Power of Attraction”.
You all have heard hundreds of times that what you entertain in your mind you bring to reality (you manifest). This is because:

In traditional Yoruba culture, Ifá refers to a system of divination and the verses of the literary corpus known as the Odú Ifá presented in the course of divination. Orunmila is the Orisa of Ifa divination. In some instances, the name Orunmila is used interchangeably with the word Ifa. However, Orunmila is the person who brought the system of Ifa divination to the world.
In Yoruba cosmology, Orunmila is known as Eleri Ipin, the Witness of Creation. Orunmila was the one who had witnessed our own destiny on earth and recorded it, just as He also recorded the destinies of all the other life forms on earth. In such that Orunmila having known all of life to the extent that he will even know us better then we know ourselves, because He will know where we come and where we ought to go in life to fulfill our rightful purpose here (destiny). And with this scientifically proven method you are told that you are perfectly suited to be Life Insurance sales person or a Mortician. Our vast universe is home to a host of celestial bodies. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn Pluto and Uranus; who were worshiped by all indigenous cultures around the globe under numerous names. They have influenced the actions of man since time immemorial. The majority of religious mythology was influenced by astrology; was it any wonder man sought out guidance from the heavens.
Between 10,000 and 6,000 BC the Africans of the Nile valley and great lakes region devised the stellar calendar. In 4,000 BC the solar calendar would mark the era of a new age; a dynastic period extended its greatness through an entire millennium. The pyramid builders and monument architects erected monolithic structures that till this day continue to marvel modern architecture.
The foundation of a culture’s spiritual system influenced by the celestial bodies and their movement in the heavens inspired them to erect monuments that marked the solstices and the equinoxes as well as the transits of the planets. Read the rest of this entry
