Any time we block a basic drive in our psyche, it can hit the physical body as illness serves unconscious needs. How do you deal with strife?...

Sure ya right! I have been a healthcare provided since I was 19. About 9 months ago I had a young lady that was a "frequent flyer". She always managed to jack up her blood pressure and need to be sent to the ER on every weekend. As she climbed aboard the stretcher she would gloat. The other staff informed me this was route for her, so I started observing her "patterns". One Monday on her return, me and her had a heart to heart talk about what she was doing and why. She forced a sly smile, but that was the end of her games. We started working toward her recovering and release from the facility. Her whole attitude changed.
